History of WKM
History of WKM since 1977
Wee Kiat Motor was established in 1977 by Mr Wee Ah Seng. Mr Wee started his career as car mechanic in his early twenties and subsequently learned the ropes in the repair of constructions equipment. It was a long and enduring learning journey for Mr Wee. In 1977, Mr Wee finally made his break when an opportunity arose where he took over the business from his previous employer. Mr Wee renamed the business Wee Kiat Motor and the rest is history.WKM began primarily in the trading of and providing repair services for various constructions equipment. In the 1980s, WKM undergone a business transformation and pitched itself into a full fledge construction equipment trading firm. Having come a long way, WKM a renowned name in the construction industry.
